ALL “worldly” medicine is scientifically based, unless it’s faith healing or magic-based. Which I (but not you, apparently) consider an altogether and entirely separate thing. Natural (therefore bound by the laws of nature, which are the laws of SCIENCE) vs. supernatural (by definition outside of nature/science). Faith and spirits and souls and beliefs belong in the latter sphere, not in the former.

But all is tied into the whole, is it not?  The whole being?

I don’t understand how one can treat one aspect of an entire being and not take the other into consideration? The spirit is as tied into the ‘worldly’ physical being while here on earth, as much as an arm or a leg is. Break them down into cells and atoms and particles. What affects one, affects the other. The spirit is what makes an individual, individual. One does not respond the way the other does to medicine, western or eastern. It’s all an individualized response.

Spirit is energy;  medicine is energy;  food is energy; air is energy; moon, sun, etc. — electrons, neutrons, protons, particles, quarks – in all things; all energy. The different vibrational frequencies of these different things make them what they are and are effected by other vibrational frequencies/energy.
You focus on what you can see, feel, touch, taste, hear. But the individual is more than the cells you see on a microscope. More than the energy you ‘see’ as you record your EKGs.

But then, maybe to you, they aren’t?

Everyone is affected by ‘belief’ and ‘faith’. Your faith is in your medicine and your capability of addressing/attending cardiac issues. But what happens when you run out of answers? Then what? There where do you turn?
I respect and value the knowledge of good physicians and veterinarians. (Contrary to what you might think) I value the knowledge of an apt scientist or engineer. I value the giftings of an artist or musician. I also value the gifting of an innocent child. Ever wonder why the ‘killer’ horse responds so protectively and gently with a child with no agenda but to love that animal?

On a material basis that’s energy at work – the resonance of frequencies of energy; on a spiritual basis that’s ‘spirit’ at work – the ability of one species to accept and interpret the intentful energy of another species. That’s not something that can be viewed in a microscope. That’s something that can be viewed only in the heart.
