SIGNS THAT A HOMEOPATHIC CHRONIC REMEDY IS WORKING:

A general sense of calmness – The first sign that the remedy is working is a sense of calmness. The horse seems better even though symptoms are still present.

Increased need for sleep – This is a positive sign that the body is trying to healing itself.

A skin rash or discharge appear – A very positive sign of the body trying cleansing and pushing out through skin.

Symptoms slowly improve – positive sign that the remedy is working gently.

Old symptoms increased, but no new symptoms – The dosage strength of remedy is too strong and needs to be adjusted. Remedy is still working, but just too fast for the horse to handle. Discontinue administering the remedy for a few days until symptoms decrease and then begin to improve. Dosage and/or potency may need to be adjusted.

Old symptoms increased, plus new symptoms appear- The dosage strength is too strong for the horse. This will happen for those horses that are extremely sensitive. Remedy will be discontinued for a few days or stopped altogether. Symptoms will subside and then improvement will begin. Dosage will need to be adjusted.
